Mumbai Remembrance, London, Friday Dec 5th

The recent events in Mumbai have affected many of us around the world directly or indirectly, irrespective of our nationality or connections with India.

To remember the dead and the injured, some of us in London are organising a quiet, non-political, non-religious time for us to stop and reflect for a while, as follows:

Date: Friday, December the 5th 2008

Venue: Lecture Theatre SG06, London Business School
Regent’s Park
London NW1A 4SA

Time: 1700 hrs to 2100 hrs (You are welcome to come in, whenever is suitable for you during this period)

Directions: Can be found here

Nearest tube stations: Marylebone, Regent’s Park (both on Bakerloo line), Baker Street (Circle, Hammersmith & City, Metropolitan, Jubilee and Bakerloo lines)

We would very much appreciate it, when you come into London Business School, if you could sign the condolence book.

We are in the process of organising concerted citizen action to try and reduce the ongoing incidence and cost of terrorism. Do leave an email address if you would like to be kept informed about it.

We thank London Business School’s India Club (Correction: London Business School and the students from India) for responding swiftly to our request and organising the venue.
